陕西交通职业技术学院 （简介）

学校位于世界四大历史文化名城之一的古都西安，现建有文景、自强、太白三个校区，总建筑面积31万平方米，资产总值9.02亿元。馆藏图书64万余册。文景校区2000年投入运行，目前为学校的主校区；自强校区已有60多年的历史，目前主要承担经管类专业教育教学和驾驶培训等任务；太白校区2009年启用，目前主要承担学生实训教学任务。文景校区现代开放、气势恢宏，自强校区古朴典雅、钟灵毓秀，太白校区环境优美、功能完备。学校被中央文明委命名为全国精神文明建设工作先进单位，被陕西省人民政府先后命名为陕西省文明校园、陕西省园林式单位。

学校现设有公路与铁道工程学院、建筑与测绘工程学院、汽车工程学院、经济管理学院、轨道交通学院、交通信息学院、继续教育与国际交流学院、基础学科部、思政部、体育部等10个教学单位，共开设全日制高职专业42个、成人教育专业10个。全日制专业中省级重点专业10个，省级综合改革专业6个。学校现拥有各类实验实训和实习基地217个，其中国家重点实训基地3个、省级重点实训基地5个。

学校现有教职工470人，其中正高职称30人、副高职称136人，博士20人、硕士263人，专职教师“双师”比例达80%以上，重点专业“双师”比例为100%。现拥有国家级教学团队1个，省级教学团队5个，省部级教学名师6人。教职工现主持和参与各类教科研项目200余项，其中部级项目6项、厅级项目72项、横向项目30项。近年来，教职工获陕西省教育教学成果特等奖1项、一等奖1项、二等奖4项，8门课程被评为省级精品课程。

学校现有全日制在校生11000余人，继续教育与远程教育学生1500余人。学校以质量为生命线，狠抓内涵建设和教学改革，取得显著成效。学生参加全国职业院校技能大赛、创新创业大赛先后荣获国家一等奖等30余项，学校被列为全国高职院校教学工作诊断改进试点院校、教育部现代学徒制试点单位、陕西省大学生创新能力培养综合改革试点学校。学校面向全国25个省（自治区、直辖市）招生，是陕西省交通物流职业教育集团理事长单位，拥有紧密型校企合作单位300余家，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在95%以上，是陕西省高校毕业生就业工作先进集体。

学校社会服务能力名列全省高职院校前茅，现附设有陕西省交通培训中心、陕西顺通公路监理技术咨询有限责任公司、陕西路桥勘察设计所、陕西交职院工程检测有限公司、陕西交院汽车驾驶培训学校、陕西通福物业公司、北京交通大学现代远程教育中心、重庆大学网络教育学习中心、北京理工大学现代远程教育学习中心等教育培训和服务机构，年均开展各类培训20000余人次。

学校积极开展国际交流与合作，是中德职业教育汽车机电合作项目优秀试点院校、中韩高新技术人才培养合作院校，先后与美国、英国、法国、德国、日本、韩国等国家及中国香港、中国台湾等地区的学校和企业建立了友好合作及交流关系。

Introduction of Shaanxi College of Communication Technology

Shaanxi College of Communication Technology is located in Xi’an, one of the world’s four major historical and cultural cities and the ancient capital of China. It has Wenjing, Ziqiang, and Taibai campuses, with a total construction area of 310,000 square meters, the total assets of 902 million yuan, and a collection of more than 64,000 books. Wenjing campus was put into operation in the year 2000 serving as the school's main campus; Ziqiang campus has 60 years of history committing to the functions of the schools of Economics and Management, and the driving training; Taibai campus was established in 2009, and the main commitment is to provide students with practical training. Wenjing campus is modern and magnificent; Ziqiang campus appears simple but intelligent and elegant; Taibai campus is beautiful and full-featured. The college was named as the advanced unit of the national spiritual civilization construction by the National Civilization Commission, and as the civilized campus in Shaanxi Province, Shaanxi Province garden-style unit by Shaanxi Provincial People's Government.

Currently, the college includes ten teaching units: Highway and Railway Engineering School, Architecture and Surveying Engineering School, Automotive Engineering School, Economics and Management School, Railway Transit School, Traffic Information Engineering School , Continuing Education and International Exchanges School, Basic Education Department, Ideological and Political Theory Teaching Department, and Sports Department. It has established 42 full-time vocational programs, and 10 adult education programs. Among the full-time programs, there are 10 provincial key programs, and 6 province-level comprehensive reform programs. The college now has a total of 217 experimental training and practical training bases, including 3 national key training bases and 5 provincial key training bases.

The college has 470 faculty and staff members, 30 of which are senior professors, 136 associate professors, 20 doctorates, 263 master's degrees; above 80% of full-time teachers are "double-qualified"; 100% of the teachers in key programs are “double-qualified”. It now has 1 national teaching team, 5 provincial teaching teams, and 6 Outstanding Teachers at the provincial and ministerial level. Faculty and staff are participating in over 200 teaching and research projects, including 6 ministry-level projects, 72 department-level projects, and 30 horizontal projects. In recent years, faculty and staff have been awarded an Outstanding Shaanxi Provincial Education and Teaching Achievement Award, one first prize, four second prizes, and eight courses are rated as excellent provincial quality courses.

The enrollment includes more than 11,000 full-time students, and 1,500 continuing education and distance education students. Taking the quality as the lifeline, the college has been paying close attention to content construction and teaching reform, and has achieved remarkable outcome. Students participating in the National Vocational College Skills Competition, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition have won more than 30 first prizes. The college is listed as one of the National Vocational Teaching Reform Diagnostic Pilot Institutions, one of the Ministry of Education Modern Apprenticeship Pilot Units, and Shaanxi  College Students' Innovative Ability Training Comprehensive Reform Pilot College. The student admissions cover 25 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities). The college has the Chairmanship of Shaanxi  Transportation and Logistics Vocational Education Group, with over 300 close school-enterprise cooperation units, and its graduate employment rates maintain more than 95% for many years. The college is the Advanced Unit of College Graduates Employment Work in Shaanxi Province.

The college’s social service ability ranks the top of the province's higher vocational colleges. Its attached companies and agencies are as following: Shaanxi Provincial Transportation Training Center, Shaanxi Shun Tong Highway Supervision Technology Consulting Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Highway and Bridge Survey and Design Institute, Engineering Inspection Co., Ltd., Automobile Driving Training School, Shaanxi Tongfu Property Service Company, Beijing Jiaotong University Modern Distance Education Center, Chongqing University Internet Education and Learning Center, Beijing Institute of Technology Modern Distance Education Learning Center, as well as other education training and service agencies, servicing more than 20,000 students per year.

The college is actively engaged in international exchanges and cooperation, and is the Outstanding Pilot Institution for Sino-German Vocational Education Automotive Electromechanical Cooperation Projects, the Cooperation Institution for Sino-Korean High-tech Personnel Training. It has established friendly and cooperative relations with colleges and enterprises from the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Japan, Korea and other countries, and Hong Kong , China Taiwan and other regions.
